Buying Associate Role
Are you looking for your first step into Buying?
The Role
We have exciting opportunities to join the BHS Buying Team as a Buying Associate. The successful candidate will be providing admin support to the Buying department by working closely with our product, creating and processing orders ensuring accuracy at all times. This will involve learning the Buying Cycle, liaising with suppliers, seeing range building in action and providing crucial administrative support to your Buyer and Assistant Buyer.
A Day in the Life of a Buying Associate
Departments are fast paced and the role will vary from day to day. An average week as a buying associate will consist of the following;
Preparing for Trading
Monitoring Critical Paths
Organising Fit Sessions
Gathering and Preparing All Products for Store Layouts
Setting Up Orders On The System
Collecting Fabric Swatches
Competitive Shopping
Once you have demonstrated success in these early stages, your role will evolve, giving you more responsibility and movement along the career ladder!
